Planner


Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit for a Planner to join a construction business in the Durham area. The aim of this role is to successfully produce, monitor and update planning schedules, for a large number of reactive and planned sewer inspections, and remediation activities being undertaken concurrently. Working closely with the General Manager to ensure SLAs are met and client requests are managed and closed in a timely manner. Responsibilities * Handle information from multiple sources in order to efficiently manage works schedule. * Proactively liaise with operational teams across the framework to obtain progress information, updating both systems and stakeholders. * Reporting on completions and outstanding works. * Liaising with the Streetworks Coordinator to ensure Traffic Management is in place for individual locations. * Updating client corporate IT systems, for example uploading CCTV footage, Fieldview. * Assisting the wider team when required to support absences. * Logging traffic management and customer requirements with the appropriate team and on the internal systems. * Ability to update stakeholders on entry dates and managing expectations. * Implement, improve and monitor internal processes along with SLA performance. * The Group is committed to achieving a high standard of Health and Safety in all its activities and the post holder will be expected to contribute to maintaining standards to ensure compliance with all appropriate legislation. * To take a full role in the implementation of personal development through appraisals and to participate in any identified training or development opportunities. * To recognise the importance of fairness and equality in the workplace, to treat everyone with dignity and respect.
