Here at BJF, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our exciting and expanding construction biased business, where YOU can help support the FM division as a working contract supervisor. Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical & Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades. Position The Supervisor is responsible for the management of day-to-day operational site activities, ensuring that BJF Group site procedures and processes are in place and operating effectively. To ensure that all works and activities undertaken by both the Delivery team and Supply Chain are provided to the required standard and in accordance with BJF Group and the client’s policy and procedures. The Supervisor is also expected to provide leadership, motivation, mentoring and line management responsibilities for the site-based teams. Key aspects of the role include but are not limited to: Site management PPM Operations Reactive works Small works Employee management Stakeholder Management SHEQ Financial and commercial management Requirements Hold an industry recognised based qualification i.e. City & Guilds / NVQ or similar in an appropriate engineering subject. Hold an industry recognised H&S management qualification (Iosh or similar) Essential Characteristics To have an eye for detail To have a calm attitude. To act within the BJF Group Code of Values and to influence others to do so.To have a proactive service-focused attitude, flexibility and adaptability to changing business requirements. Able to think on their feet and change their approach as required to ensure total customer satisfaction, whilst ensuring operational and fiscal plans are at least achieved.
