Policy Advisor

Policy Advisor Location: Aldershot Salary £25,000-£45,000 My client who are based in Aldershot, who are a not for profit organisation within the leisure sector are seeking a policy advisor to join their fast growing team. To apply for this position, you will need experience within a similar role, or an aspiration to work with Policies/Politics. Duties Developing policy positions and proposals, identifying changes in policy design and/or implementation that could deliver improved outcomes. Designing and overseeing delivery of a programme of communication and engagement to share policy Establishing a strong network of policy professionals, influencers, and decision-makers in statutory and voluntary organisations across the sector Knowledge and understanding of how law and social policy is developed Excellent networking, negotiating, influencing and communication skills. A successful track record of providing advice to civil servants and politicians or other senior decision makers on complex and sensitive issues.
