Battery Technician

Battery Maintenance Technician Pertemps are looking for a Battery Maintenance Technician based on one of our clients' sites in the Dartford area, post code DA We are looking for someone who is confident with maintaining and repairing motive power batteries. This is a permanent position, and the hours of work would be Monday - Friday however the successful candidate must be willing to work flexible hours as & when required. KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES " Carry out battery cleaning and maintenance on customer premises. " Report any issues or repairs to Norco head office. " Safely prepare equipment for transportation " Build up strong relationships with members of staff and customers. " Assist the site with holiday & sickness cover. Covering 12-hour shift battery changing when required. " General housekeeping of the battery bay area QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS " Knowledge of Forklift Batteries & Chargers desirable " Background in Battery & Charger repairs & maintenance desirable " Ability to function as part of a team. " Diligent and conscientious attitude with the ability to prioritise a busy workload. " Ability to work unsupervised. " Responsible and mature attitude " Capability to work well under pressure. " Well organised " Ability to understand the technical nature of the product. PAY RATE & HOURS £10.75 per hour - weekly paid on Friday.
