Senior Planner

Legacy Strategies are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Planner to become a crucial part of our clients team. With a focus on supporting projects nationwide, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical construction projects. As the Senior Planner, you will play a crucial role as the planning and programming specialist within the organisation, responsible for producing and developing programmes for all projects across the business. Full-Time/Permanent/ Office-based with some on-site visits Key Responsibilities: * Develop a comprehensive understanding of contracts throughout the tendering and delivery phases to ensure compliance with contract programming requirements for NEC and JCT contracts. * Generate and maintain robust tender and contract programmes, effectively identifying risks and opportunities for programme adjustments while meeting client requirements. * Conduct weekly reviews with Contracts Directors, Contracts Managers, and Project Managers to ensure plans are up-to-date, capturing critical path activities, and identifying programme risks and mitigation strategies. * Provide KPIs, variance reports, and other necessary reports for the business and clients. Requirements: * Expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and ASTA. * Previous experience in the Civil Engineering Industry. * In-depth understanding of NEC and JCT contract forms and associated claims processes. * Strong time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills with the ability to work independently, under pressure, and to deadlines. * Attention to detail and strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels across the business. * Abide by and encourage compliance with health and safety at all times.
