Electrician

Introduction: Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team. This is a contract position with an opportunity to work on maritime naval ships. Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair duties on naval ships. Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve electrical issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently. Provide technical guidance and support to other electricians as needed. Complete work orders, log maintenance tasks, and record electrical measurements accurately. Job Requirements: Significant experience as an Approved Electrician. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation. Experience in performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. Familiarity with safety regulations and practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
