Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Leeds Industry: Building and Construction Salary: £60000 - £70000 This position is an excellent opportunity working with a main contractor, who has a well-established regional presence in Yorkshire. Our client is well renowned for their work in commercial, public sector, health care and government led framework build projects. The successful candidate will be a diligent and efficient professional, proficient in the delivery of procurement, commercial management, and final accounting. Key skills required: Good communication skills Keen eye for detail Accuracy and efficiency Duties involved in the role: Liaison with clients and project managers Commercial acumen with some focus on the contractual aspect of projects Measurement, pricing, and negotiation of any variations that arise. Resolution of project cost discrepancies Compilation of subcontract orders to meet approval. Attendance of pre contract meetings to liaise with professional construction team and ensure completion of planned process. Continual contact with management in both contracts and site to assist in the efficient delivery of site and office-based tasks.
