We are looking for a Laundry Assistant to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis: Key Responsibilities To provide a fast and efficient laundry service for guests When handling items to be laundered, take care and read labels thoroughly before washing Separate articles according to colour, fabric and the cleaning treatment required, watching for damage and stains To operate the laundry machinery by following Health and Safety and Manufacturer guidelines at all times. Ability to work in a team and work towards the department's goals To be aware of and comply with COSHH rulings Be conscious of and practice occupational health & safety at all times in the workplace To comply with all Health and Safety regulations and be aware of and comply with COSHH rulings To ensure that the folding, counting, stacking and packaging of articles are carried out correctly and appropriately. To prepare items correctly and that they are delivered to the correct property to minimise errors and guest complaints. To maintain the laundry room is tidy and clean at all times To be flexible with working rotating shifts including weekends and bank holidays. To pick up and delivery laundry from properties, ensuring each property is labelled and kept separate. Liaise regularly with colleagues, supervisors and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is always delivered to the client. Provide a highly customer focused service to the company and client at all times. Any other duties as and when requested.
