CNC Programmer (Prototyping) Pucklechurch, Bristol. Full time, permanent. Up to £45,000 + Benefits. Monday to Thursday 07:30- 16:00 & Friday 07:30- 13:30 After recently signing an exclusive recruitment partnership, Randstad Engineering are partnered with one of the most exciting manufacturing businesses in the South West- Domin. At Domin, we have developing ground-breaking technology that will disrupt the hydraulics, automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries for the better. Using the latest technology through the manufacturing, our production site combines traditional machining techniques with additive manufacturing/3D printing. Because of the continued expansion of the business, we are bringing our prototyping business in house, this is where you could come in. Working as part of the newly formed prototyping team, your responsibilities will include: Contributing to design reviews Agreeing key dimensions and tolerances with design engineers Generate machine programmes to machine key parts (including 5-axis milling, turn-milling, WEDM, grinding). Programming interface today is FANUC and Heidenhain. Expected to be a mix of CAD/CAM and console programming. Work with operators to ensure parts are made in the right way, to the right delivery deadlines. At times you may be required to set and operate machines if operators are not available and parts need to be machined. To be successful in this position, you should meet the following essential criteria: Proven experience in programming and operating machines using FANUC and Heidenhain controllers within a manufacturing environment (3+ years experience) Experience in manufacturing precision equipment (<5 micron tolerances) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised and detail-oriented. Desirable: Experience with New Product Introduction processes Experience in 5-axis milling, grinding, turning, WEDM (training can be provided if not) Experience of machining Additive Manufactured parts Experience of machining hydraulic components Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
