HV Authorised Person / LoTo Officer - 400kV

Role: 400kV HV Authorised Person (AP) x3 Location: x3 Locations - Suffolk / Bedfordshire / South Wales Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extension Sector: Energy - OCGT Working Pattern: Full-Time - Monday-Friday Rates: Competitive - Outside IR35 via CIS Carbon60 have partnered with an international energy developer with a global footprint to support the growth of their UK workforce. Responsibilities: Extensive knowledge of plant mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a strong understanding of P&IDs, electrical one line / multiline and other technical drawings. Progressive and engrained approach to safety and environmental regulations, especially in relation to the implementation of safe working practices to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations to improve standards onsite where appropriate. Point of contact for all things safety (Lockout / Tagout (LOTO)) in addition to regular site analysis, work authorisations, confined space and hot work permits. Represent the client in relation to site protective measures identified on the permit to ensure standards are met prior to authorisation of work scopes. Issuing of tag & locks for all personnel Log daily reports with accurate documentation pertaining to locks and permits (open & closed) as well as ensuring the placement and removal from designated equipment and systems. Timely, efficient and accurate reporting to Lead Engineers, Commissioning Managers and Head of Commissioning Requirements: Must have eligibility to work in the UK 3+ year's experience in HSE & LOTO processes of power stations NEBOSH / IOSH / SMSTS (Preferred) HND/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Inclusive approach to working environment Strong Communication skills both internal and external Critical thinking skills & problem solving skills Fluent spoken and written English Authorised to 400kVCarbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
