Traffic Management Operatives East Kilbride, G74 £11.44 to £17 per hour (DOE) ***Immediate starts available*** ***Weekly wages every Friday*** TaskMaster Scotland are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our brand new client in East Kilbride who support Local Authorities throughout the UK by providing them with temporary traffic management solutions and have done for over 20 years. Our client is looking for experienced traffic management operatives to add to their team on an ongoing basis with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate. You must be flexible due to the shift times varying depending on the projects requirements and may be required to work weekends if needed. Hours of work: Day Shift – between 6am to 6pm Night Shift – 6pm to 6am (guaranteed 12 hours) **Some stay away for projects may be required in which accommodation costs will be covered by the client** What will your duties and responsibilities be as a traffic management operative? * Setting up traffic control measures like signs and barriers. * Directing traffic and implementing diversions or closures. * Monitoring traffic flow and addressing hazards. * Assisting pedestrians and communicating with drivers. * Coordinating with team members and authorities. * Responding to emergencies. * Maintaining equipment and following safety protocols. * Providing reports on activities and incidents. What can we offer you within our client as a traffic management operative? * Starting rate of £11.44 per hour, with potential for an increase based on qualifications and experience. * Drivers will have the privilege of using the company-provided vans for transportation to different sites. * Potential permanent contract after probationary period for the right candidate * Employee of the month incentives * Refer a friend bonus – Terms apply where the friend must work 6 weeks to qualify * Weekly wages every Friday from TaskMaster What do we require for our client? * You must hold a valid Lantra Ticket, 12ab & 12d cards, which will be verified by TaskMaster to ensure compliance and industry standards * This role requires flexibility to travel to different sites across Scotland and adapt to varying work schedules * A valid UK Driving licence (desirable but not essential) * Physically fit due to the nature of the role * A reference from a previous employer within the last 2 years If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please can we ask that you apply directly to this job post or alternatively, you can call our office to speak with our dedicated consultant Chloe on (phone number removed).
