Job Title: Senior ERTMS Project Manager and Regional Interface Coordinator Location - Sweden (Will need to relocate) Contract - Option FTC or Outside IR35 Duration - 1 year (Extendable) Return flight and hotel paid for   We are actively seeking an exceptional ERTMS Project Manager to assume a key role in the seamless integration of the ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) across the Swedish railway network, extending into neighboring countries. This position is integral to ensuring the technical proficiency and timely deployment of the new signalling system, demanding close collaboration with infrastructure administrations on a multinational scale.   Role Overview   The individual in this role will take the lead in managing and coordinating the introduction and integration of the ERTMS, ensuring the effective execution of project management tasks. This critical position demands collaboration within joint management groups alongside respected international organisations, overseeing the development of technical systems and interfaces across diverse geographical borders.   Key Responsibilities Lead and direct project management and coordination efforts for the seamless integration of ERTMS. Collaborate with external organisations, within joint management groups. Supervise the development of technical systems and interfaces, including negotiations, agreements, and financing. Provide regular updates and reports on the project's progress to clients and stakeholders. Establish and maintain a robust network of contacts spanning operational areas and pertinent external organisations. Requirements Minimum of 15 years of experience in pivotal roles within large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly those involving railway facilities. At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in implementing digital technology solutions, system design, or development. Proven leadership abilities, a profound technical comprehension, an organised approach to project management, and the capacity to foster trust. Proficiency in both spoken and written Swedish and English. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
