PACS Engineer (Healthcare Informatics)


The Role Capgemini Engineering are looking for a PACS OEngineer to support our Life Sciences consulting practice. This is an exciting opportunity which offers plenty of opportunity to grow within the team and also offers an attractive reward package. This role will offer hybrid working where you can choose to divide your time between working from the office or client site and working from home depending on the nature of the project. Some of the main responsibilities will include providing support for PACS users, managing incident resolution, driving process optimisation and defining product strategy. Your Profile * Previous experience of Windows operating systems, Server 2012 > 2019 * Strong know-how of Virtualization, Hyper-V and VmWare * Prior experience with Storage technologies such as EMC and Dell * IIS knowledge * Have obtained SSL Certificates * Solid understanding of networking basics such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VLAN’s * Oracle database or at least SQL knowledge * Experience with DICOM and HL7 would be beneficial * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Experience of the workflow within a radiology department would also be beneficial. * Experience of Hospital IT Projects, specifically RIS, PACS, VNA, Digital Pathology and Imaging Software would be an advantage * Must have a clean driving license and willingness to travel when required Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position on this occasion.
