Senior Events Coordinator Coventry £ Competitive - DOE The Recruitment Bunker are exclusively recruiting a Senior Events Coordinator for a leading group of automotive companies. The Senior Events Coordinator will operate within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with the Marketing team and other departments within the group. Specialising in both the operational and creative aspects, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless execution of all events within the automotive sector. Grown organically over the last 50 years, the group has its roots in construction, mechanical, services, renewable technologies, heating, and plumbing; in recent years it has diversified into software development and internet of things, and the automotive industry. It now has some of the UK’s most exciting automotive brands in-house, including automotive influencer Mr JWW, and a collection of luxury automotive brands, including some of the most well-known worldwide. Role Responsibilities * Organise all business, promotional and social events at required locations across the UK * Identify the group and client’s requirements and expectations for each event * Work closely with the marketing team to promote the event * Liaise with attendees, vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process * Coordinate all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes in line with venue rules and regulations * Research on the necessary merchandise requirements for events and attendees * Maintain and monitor event budgets * Contribute ideas which enhance the success of events * Book venues, entertainers, caterers, photographers, and event suppliers * Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards * Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings to the Events Manager. Essential Skills * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in end-to-end event planning and coordination preferably within the Automotive sector * Proven track record of successful event planning * Willing to travel to nationwide locations depending on event locations * Able to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail * Ability to work individually as well as within a team * Ability to work quickly and calm under pressure * Post event feedback and reporting * Flexible to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays where required * Hold a clean driver’s licence * Must have IDLR/ Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.
