Senior Management Accountant | Derbyshire | £50,000 or above | Permanent Are you an accomplished and Senior Management Accountant looking for a role within a food manufacturing organisation that can provide you with greater control over management accounts processes, whilst being part of an inclusive and friendly team environment? Are you looking for a company where you can really develop yourself and make a true difference?  Cherry professional are excited to be working with a successful Derbyshire based client who are seeking a new management accountant to take control of their finance function.  In addition to an expansive role that includes exposure to all aspects of management accounting, long term progression is also very obtainable with scope for the successful applicant to develop into a Financial Controller in 3 years time. The successful applicant will be able to report into an experienced Finance Manager.  JOB ROLE: Senior Management Accountant. LOCATION: Derbyshire. SALARY: £50k or higher - negotiable dependant on experience THE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Production of the monthly management accounts. - Performance analysis including discussion with internal stakeholders. - Supporting the Assistant Accountant with month end. - Assist the delivery of systems improvement projects. - Maintenance of fixed assets including depreciation, additions and disposals. - Balance sheet reconciliations. - Quarterly VAT DESIRABLE:  - A Part- Qualified accountant who is studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA. - Someone with previous experience in producing monthly management accounts. - Someone with a passion for SME companies and being part of an inclusive team. - Management experience - A strong user of Excel and experienced with a form of accountancy software. - FMCG    Does this role sound interesting? – If so, make sure you apply today to avoid missing out!
