TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Special Needs School in Leeds, supporting with their recruitment for a SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA. The setting is centred on pupil’s development and progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills. The school is seeking out a passionate team player to take on the role. A successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA who can bring a new dimension and skill set to what can be achieved in this short-term role, with potential to become a long-term placement for the right SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA. The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with a variety of diagnosis including Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, SEMH and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
