Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Foot Mobile

JOB TITLE: Electrical Maintenance Engineer - FOOT MOBILE REPORTING TO: Contract Manager LOCATION: London Zones 1 + 2 SHIFT PATTERN: Mon-Fri SALARY: £24/25 per hour TEMP TO PERM CONTRACT ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE To carry out quoted works, PPM’s and reactive repairs to M&E Plant and site building fabric, landlord side. To complete proactive inspections and any required remedial repairs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the onsite supervisor. Including, but not limited to fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance of electrical building services equipment • Carrying out various non-specialist building fabric maintenance tasks • To close / update completed PPM tasks on the site computerised maintenance system • Carry out small electrical installation work • To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects • Ensure company & site, health & safety procedures are followed at all time • Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works • Working from platforms and ladders • Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner • To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • City & Guilds/NVQ - Electrical Installation / Maintenance or equivalent • City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE/ 17th edition • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent training • A demonstrable knowledge of building services engineering • Knowledge and use of computer software – Microsoft Office, Building Management Systems • Customer service • Good written and verbal communication skills • Able to work unsupervised • Adaptable and flexible approach to work requirements, willing to accept change Desirable • City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Test & Inspection
