Job Opportunity: Shift Manager – Packing Location: Redruth, Cornwall Salary: £29,500 - £31,000 + benefits Working Hours: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 6 am – 6 pm. Winners Recruitment, on behalf of our esteemed client, is seeking an experienced individual to join their team as a Shift Manager in the Packing department. Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the team of 16, addressing people and performance issues effectively. * Foster a positive work culture, upholding company rules through exemplary leadership. * Manage the workflow of Packing/Production, ensuring adherence to operational, health & safety, and food safety procedures. * Maintain a constant focus on food safety and quality. * Proactively manage stock, labor, equipment, and wastage streams. * Ensure accurate recording on the ERP system for traceability. Requirements: * Experience in the food industry ideal but not essential. * Engaging leadership style with a willingness to accept responsibility. * Good production/packing knowledge. * Demonstrated ability to stay calm under pressure. * Strong attention to detail and system skills. * Problem-solving skills and the ability to make tough decisions. * Positive and fair approach.
