Finance Business Partner – Chorley – Construction/Rail – Permanent – up to £50,000 – Car Allowance Mt client are a construction and Civil Engineering contractor who operate in the rail and infrastructure industry. They are rapidly growing and looking to expand their finance team. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing finance related support to the Northwest England division based in Chorley. You will develop a sound understanding of the strategic direction and continually develop financial processes to best support this. Role and Responsibilities: - Assist with the production of monthly management accounts. - Post and reconcile journals, accruals and prepayments within our account system COINS. - Present monthly results to Divisional Management alongside the regional Operations Director and Commercial Manager. - Produce balance sheet account reconciliations. - Undertake reviews and analysis of Regional Overhead costs. - Develop reports and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose. - Prepare annual budgets and forecasts. - Work with the Divisional Finance Team to support and facilitate cross divisional requirements. - Provide ad hoc reporting requirements to the region and division. The Successful Applicant - Will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role - Be CIMA/ACCA qualified/Part Qualified or QBE. - Have excellent communication skills. - Advanced Excel skills. - Attention to detail and a natural ability to spot erroneous outcomes. - The ability to clearly communicate in writing. - Be willing to travel. Travel will be required 1x day per week to either our Chorley or Carlisle office dependant on home location. Car Allowance/Company Car will be included in the role
