Quality Inspector

My client provides high precision CNC Milling/Turning and ancillary services to a variety of high-tech industries including Formula 1, Nuclear Safety and Science & Technology. They are currently on the lookout for a Quality Inspector to join their ever-growing team based in Oxford. You will be taking control of all aspects of quality control from material supply through thorough checking off in-process inspection, to final delivery along with a disciplined and ‘hands on’ approach to dimensional inspection. Responsibilities: In-Process inspection (During Manufacture) Use of Programmable and Manual CMM inspection Upkeep, Maintenance and calibration of Metrology gauges and equipment to ISO 9001 Overseeing goods in/out inspection Raising and investigating NCRs with implementation of corrective/preventive measures Presentation of KPI statistics for monthly review Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation as it relates to the Production and inspection Requirements: Ideally you will be an experienced CNC Machinist/programmer with an ‘Inspection’ background You will be fully familiar with and have experience of working within an ISO 9001 environment Good communication skills both internally and to outside ‘agencies’ by telephone/email Supporting the production team striving for 100% quality On Offer: Up to £38K per annum Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm and Friday 8am – 1pm Occasional overtime For more information on this role, please contact Harry Waller by sending a copy of your CV to (url removed) Omega Resource Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
