MRO Customer Support Executive


MRO Customer Support Executive Salary: dependent on experience Location: Southend on Sea Aeropeople are currently recruiting for a MRO Customer Support Executive on behalf of our client based in Southend on Sea. Established 20 years ago they are an approved aircraft repair station specialising in aviation wheel and brake services. Their sizable workshop/ office offers the space to carry out full testing, inspection, repair and overhaul of the majority of regional, commercial, military and corporate aircraft wheels, brakes, landing gear, freight locking system components, hydraulics, actuators, valves and accumulators. They also have their own Non- Destructive Testing department on site. Their customers span the UK to Europe, USA, Canada, Middle and Far East. They are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual with a good eye for detail to join their fast-paced Customer Support team. You will be required to perform a wide range of administration and customer support activities. Main Responsibilities: •Processing orders, co-ordinating their fulfilment internally, with third party suppliers and with clients. •Liaising with the internal sales & purchasing team, clients, and workshops. •Working closely with stores and purchasing to ensure stock levels are available to support key customer accounts. •Developing loyal and long-lasting client relationships through personal attention and follow-up. •Keeping up to date with ongoing progress reports. •Assisting the Customer Support Manager with incoming customer requests. •Building quotations for customers' orders. •Assist the team with filling and scanning duties of completed work packs. •Learning our internal approval certification process. Benefits: •Annual salary of up to £37,000 dependent upon experience •Company pension •20 holiday days plus bank holidays- increasing by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days About You: •Previous office/ administration experience essential. •Aviation experience/ background is essential •A high level of numeracy. •Excellent attention to detail. •SAP Experience preferred but not essential. •Quantum Experience preferred but not essential. •Can work under pressure. •A willingness to learn quickly and have a 'can do' attitude is essential. •Must be able to work well both in a team environment and independently. •Must possess confidence, positive attitude and strong work ethic and drive to succeed. •Able to manage time effectively. •Excellent communication, listening and persuasion skills. •Able to think creatively and independently. •Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet research capability essential. •Enjoy working in a high energy, fast paced growing environment.
