Automotive MOT Tester/Vehicle technician Salary - Basic £41,720 - £46,720 Our client is seeking a fully trained MOT Tester and/or Vehicle Technician to join their already successful motor trade team working within a busy Garage. You need to be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative. MOT Tester Responsibilities: * MOT testing of vehicles * Carry out basic repairs (and within standard times) economically and efficiently * Complete work to a high standard, adhere to manufacturer procedures and processes and demonstrate high attention to detail at all times Vehicle Technician Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance tasks as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles. * Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs. * Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and recommended repairs.
