Manufacturing Estimator

Pure are delighted to once again working with our client who is a well-established Essex Manufacturer. They have experienced year on year growth with some very exciting future plans in the pipeline. Due to expansion of their team, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator with solid experience within manufacturing estimating. It would be advantageous if you have previous cladding estimating experience, and knowledge of bespoke fabrication manufacturing would also be a bonus.  Your role would be to support the sales function with accurate costings for products, which are all manufactured in-house. You would assess the projects on a case-by-case basis and determine the individual price.  You would also carry out checks on legal documents including tenders, contracts, and agreements and attend required meetings with clients and internal colleagues. You will have experience of negotiation and relationship building with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as well as the ability to identify project characteristics, benefits, and areas of risk at an early stage. A full breakdown of the requirements of this role can be provided. We are seeking someone with a minimum of 3 years solid Estimating experience, ideally within the areas stated above. You will have an understanding of contracts and their implications and be able to read PDF and CAD drawings and possess an eye for detail and accuracy. You'll have excellent numerical skills and be able to assess and evaluate enquiries and allocate the appropriate amount of time and accuracy to quote / estimate.
