Site Foreman

At smartDCS we are looking for a Site Foreman to join our team and work on our client sites based within the southwest region and the UK. This role is based out of our Gloucester office. As Site Foreman you will have a multi trade skillset with relevant experience working in the commercial sector on fit out projects. Due to the type of sites we work on, the selected candidate must be a UK national and happy to travel to different locations as and when necessary. You will be responsible for scheduling, co-ordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives, ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget along with managing equipment and materials required while working in both internal fit out projects and external installations. The chosen candidate needs to have a strong personality and be able to control and manage trades people onsite. Our Site Foreman’s are a valuable part of our business, driving quality outcomes and achieving the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental controls. They work collaboratively with our Project Managers to ensure the completion of projects to the highest standard. The role is focused on more internal construction and require someone who has worked on fit outs of buildings and fitted out a floorplate including offices and toilets. What you will be doing, your responsibilities and controls: * Completing projects within time frames allocated * Coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans * Responsible for Health and Safety and ensuring quality standards are met * Supervise and training core staff including trades people and subcontractors * Ensuring manpower and resources are adequate onsite * Allocating general and daily tasking and displaying the right leadership behaviours * Ensure works are carried out to client specification and delivered to agreed costs and timescales * Controls the installation of electrical and IT cabling infrastructure, including containment, ventilation systems, water and drainage systems * Manages the removal and installing of partition walls, furniture and carpeting.
