Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with expertise in SD-WAN, VXLAN, routing protocols, Palo Alto, and proficiency with either HP or Cisco networking equipment. The ideal candidate will also possess strong knowledge of network access controls, including Clearpass or Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). Responsibilities: 1. Design, implement, and maintain SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance, improve reliability, and reduce costs. 2. Configure and manage VXLAN overlays for efficient network virtualization and scalability. 3. Implement and troubleshoot various routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) to ensure efficient data flow and network resilience. 4. Deploy and manage Palo Alto firewall solutions, including policy management, threat prevention, and traffic inspection. 5. Configure and maintain network infrastructure using either HP or Cisco networking equipment, ensuring high availability and performance. 6. Develop and enforce network access control policies using Clearpass or Cisco ICE to secure network resources and enforce compliance. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects, resolve issues, and implement best practices. 8. Conduct regular network performance monitoring, analysis, and optimization to proactively identify and address potential issues. 9. Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference. 10. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative network solutions. Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2. Proven experience working as a Network Engineer, with a focus on SD-WAN, VXLAN, routing protocols, Palo Alto firewalls, and network access controls. 3. Strong proficiency with HP or Cisco networking equipment, including configuration, troubleshooting, and management. 4. In-depth understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, including their implementation and optimization. 5. Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies and their deployment in complex network environments. 6. Familiarity with VXLAN overlays and their role in network virtualization and segmentation. 7. Experience with Palo Alto firewall solutions, including configuration, policy management, and threat prevention. 8. Knowledge of network access control solutions such as Clearpass or Cisco ISE, including configuration and policy enforcement. 9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently. 10. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 11. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), or equivalent certifications are a plus
