Senior Civil Engineer Permanent Derby Office £38,000 - £50,000 + profit share + Benefits Key responsibilities and accountabilities associated with the role are as follows: * Providing high quality concept, preliminary and detailed technical design on projects requiring highway and drainage design. * Carrying out a range of drainage calculations, including QBar, attenuation storage, soakaway sizing, foul loads, pipeline capacities and network analysis for a range of drainage applications. * Carrying out a range of adoptable and non-adoptable highway, driveway carparking and footpath structural pavement designs for a range of permeable and non-permeable surfaces. * Preparing Developer Enquiries, Environment Agency product requests and LLFA information requests, relating to drainage designs, flood risk assessments and drainage strategies. * Preparing S104, S106 and S185 application forms and associated packages for submission to the Drainage Authority and Planning Authority. * Preparing S184, S278 and S38 application forms and associated packages for submission to the Highway Authority. * Report writing, e.g. Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy Reports, etc. * Managing projects. * Ensuring that projects are undertaken to the specified budget and timeframes.
