Production Operative/ TIG welder

Job description We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our client's team as a Production Operative. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to fabrication, welding, and assembly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and experience working with hand and power tools. Hours: 39 hours per week, 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am -12 noon on Fridays Duties: Fabricate and weld components using mainly TIG welding Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Working with various materials including stainless steel and aluminium with varying thickness from 0.9mm to 5.0mm Inspect finished products for quality assurance Maintain a clean and organised work area Skills and Experience: Fabrication and welding skills, particularly TIG welding. Able to work to deadlines. Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Detail-oriented with a focus on quality Benefits: Company pension On-site parking Please note that at times due to the volume of applications we may not be able to respond to each person individually.
