Supply Chain Assistant

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to join our dynamic team in Westerham. As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will support the Demand Planner by overseeing demand forecasting management and taking responsibility for systematic dates to ensure alignment with production schedule changes. You will collaborate with Customer Services to handle escalations and queries promptly. You will aid the purchasing function in acquiring non-stocked products and proactively monitor supplier performance while fostering vendor relationships. You will also assist inventory control with goods receiving inquiries when necessary. You will stay updated on Purchase & Works Order issues and other Supply Chain matters through active participation in meetings. You will also identify opportunities for continuous improvement and represent the organisation professionally. Additionally, you will fulfil additional tasks as assigned by the Production Planner & Buyer. Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent Supply Chain Assistant Requirements: Excellent organisation and prioritising skills Good knowledge of Excel, numeracy, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively to deadline. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to build strong working relationships. Strong team player and collaborates easily with others, willing to help and learn from others and shares relevant information with the team. Able to demonstrate a creative flair and solve problems. Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines.
