Mechanical Project Manager


A Sheffield based company who specialises in Fibre sensing solutions are on the lookout for a Project Manager with a Mechanical/Electrical skillset to join their team. The position is looking to be a 3-month contract initially and then will aim to tranfer to a full time permanent position. The role of the Project Manager may also require most of the time being onsite, but remote working/flexible hours are available when needed. The Company A Fibre Sensing solution company that work with multiple industries including oil & gas, renewables and commercial. This particular project will be working closely with the end client on a Battery powered electrical distribution project for commercial venues. Mechanical/Electrical Project Manager As the client work within a fast paced environment, the successful candidate will need to have previous experience as an Manager or Team Lead, and can show examples of leading a multi-disciplined team. Skills overview: Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Technical understanding of CAD Systems, BOMs, Design, Schematics, Cabling etc. General knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Experience working within a manufacturing environment, especially within safety critical projects Please apply with an up to date CV.
