As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to work as part of a facilities engineering team to support electrical maintenance in all of our properties, undertaking both reactive and planned works.
You will have experience working in varied residential buildings, with a hands on approach to all electrical system maintenance, testing and installation. You will need to evidence a strong knowledge of varied electrical equipment such as low voltage power, lighting systems, fire alarms and CCTV.
You will be experienced with health and safety processes and procedures; with the ability to apply them to all working tasks.
You will be familiar with creating and completing all required maintenance documentation and updates on our electronic systems; this will include creating written job plans and technical reports.
Successful candidates will be required to support the department's on-call rota. This would include any pre-planned works and responding to equipment issues. Therefore, application of good fault finding and communication skills are essential.
