Warehouse Operative

TSR Ipswich Ltd are looking for a Warehouse Operative with the opportunity to progress into a Warehouse Supervisor!

The ideal candidate will be someone who is ambitious and has a strong warehouse or alternatively someone who has strong leadership experience in the past in some shape of form whether it's in Warehousing or another field!

Some of the duties associated with this role:

• Using the PDA scanner.
• Labelling and shrink wrapping.
• Using the counterbalance forklift to move stock around the warehouse.
• Supervising and organising other workers on site.
• Stock check & takes on a regular basis.
• Assisting with unload manually and with the forklift.
• Inputting information & learning in house systems in regards to loads coming into the warehouse.
• Getting updates on deliveries coming into the warehouse.
• Notifying and updating clients on deliveries coming into the warehouse.
• Pallet building & repairing when required.
• Ensure the warehouse is in a safe standard to work in, before and working practice.

The ideal candidate will be somone who:

• Experience within a warehouse setting.
• Ability to lift objects and perform physical tasks.
• Familiarity with loading, unloading, and stacking techniques.
• Counterbalance Ticket (Not Essential, But Will Give You The Extra Edge If Already Obtained).
