Analysts typically lead development of the quantitative evidence base underpinning our projects, drawing from theories and methods used commonly in economics, operational research and social research. Analysts work closely with policy and communications experts, and experts across government departments, academia and industry. As a small analytical team there is a focus on working together, sharing ideas and supporting each other's development.
The post holders can expect to work with consultants, they will participate in external engagement both to test and validate analysis and to promote past work, and may get involved in report writing. As a small organisation, there is significant opportunity to get exposure to senior officials, Commissioners and business leaders.
Profile
I am recruiting for an experienced analyst with a keen interest in infrastructure analysis, the ability to break down complex real-world problems into practical analytical steps, and experience of delivering quality-assured quantitative insights at pace. The successful candidate will provide high-quality analysis and advice to this executive agency of HM Treasury.
