Our client is a charity based in Cumbria.    Background This role could be the ideal career opportunity for you if you have previously worked as a HR Administrator and are looking for a new challenge. This is also an opportunity available to graduates who have completed practical work experience in human resources such as through a sandwich year or placement.  You will work with the Head of People Services to provide an effective HR support and advisory service to managers.    Main Purpose Provide a comprehensive HR support service to management and employee across the organisation.    Duties & Responsibilities Provide a high standard of first line advice and guidance to managers, staff, and volunteers across the organisation. Support with investigation and formal hearings in relation is disciplinary, performance and grievance management including minute taking. Support with absence management processes. Maintain the accuracy of the HRIS. Process a wide range of employment documents including contracts of employment. Support managers to recruit and induct employees and volunteers through the use of fair and relevant recruitment methods. Provide administrative support in relation to recruitment. Undertake screening checks.    Person specification CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards An understanding of relevant employment legislation and ACAS codes of practice Previous experience of working in a HR generalist role A drivers license is essential for this role due to location    Benefits: Salary of up to £24,851 depending on experience 35 days holidays including bank holidays Employer contribution pension Life insurance Learning and development opportunities EAP Free parking Discounted gym membership
