Financial Controller (Financial Services)

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Financial Controller who has worked within the Financial Services / Banking sector. This is a great Financial Controller role which will be leading the financial accounting division of the business and supporting the Head of Finance. Salary: £85-91K base + car allowance + benefits Location: Hybrid working - Epsom, Surrey - 2 days office Parking onsite Financial Controller duties: Proactively supporting the team, driving forward the division and process improvements etc Setting and agreeing tax strategy Projects, leading on systems from finance perspective - cash / banking / AR / AP / GL etc Delivery of IFRS reporting Ownership of group reporting and improvements Work closely with the Head of Finance with the overall running of the division Ensuring delivery of stat accounts and general ledger up to date Managing relationships with suppliers / auditors Provision of payroll / tax services associated rechargesSkills and experience: Be a qualified Accountant with proven FC / Financial Controller level experience and exposure within FS / Banking sector Commercial awareness, an eye for detail, identify and drive forward change Excellent communication skillsMorgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
