Senior Control Systems Engineer £40,000 - £55,000 + Private Medical Care, Allowances, 25 Days Holiday + Banks Annual bonus between 20-30% 37.5 hours a week with Hybrid working options Excellent supported training to advance on your own skills Fast growing business with strong order book North East based role Ref: 23344 Senior Control Systems Engineer - The Role: ⦁ Concept design of electrical power and control systems for bespoke equipment ⦁ Hardware design including component selection and supporting calculations ⦁ Design of ethernet and serial networks ⦁ PLC programming (Siemens / Rockwell) ⦁ Manufacture and assembly support ⦁ Technical documentation to support equipment (specifications, risk assessments, manuals, etc) ⦁ Client support – on-site and remote ⦁ Peer review of engineering designs ⦁ Travel to customer sites for commissioning activities Senior Control Systems Engineer - The Person: ⦁ Ideally Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline ⦁ Hardware design experience essential ⦁ PLC Software experience – Siemens or Rockwell preferred ⦁ Familiarity of AutoCAD Electrical useful but not essential ⦁ Experience of Power Systems or HV highly desirable for this role ⦁ Ability to work on projects without direct supervision ⦁ Flexibility to travel for commissioning outside the UK when required ⦁ Clear thinker with tenacity to solve technical problems ⦁ Adaptable and willing to take on challenges Located in Tyne & Wear, this role would be commutable from Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Chester-le-Street and surrounding areas.
