Duty and Assessment - Blackburn - £35 p/h

Blackburn Council is seeking dedicated and experienced Social Workers to join their dynamic Duty and Assessment Team. Blackburn is a pretty settled authority offering a negotiable hourly rate of £35 per hour depending on experience. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families referred to the Duty and Assessment Team. Offer immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assessments, interventions, and support provided. Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings Requirements: 2 years post qualifying experience Experience in Duty and Assessment team is preferable.
