Leisure Duty Manager


Brighton College is seeking to appoint a Leisure Duty Manager. Main purpose of the role:  As Leisure Duty Manager, you will work as part of a team to take responsibility for the operation and management of the award-winning School of Science and Sports Facilities, opened in 2020. You will ensure that the facilities are kept to the highest standard and that exceptional levels of customer service are delivered at all times. General Duties and Responsibilities of our Leisure Duty Manager: Provide a professional and friendly welcome to all users. Promote and provide an environment that is clean, safe and comfortable for all users. Ensure that all staff on duty are following the appropriate policies and procedures. Ensure timetables sessions are set up and cleared away promptly. Ensure adequate lifeguarding of swimming pool sessions. Cleaning duties as required on a day-to-day basis to achieve the highest standards of presentation, supported by the Cleaning team. What we're looking for in our Leisure Duty Manager: Customer focused with a passion for providing exceptional service. Driven and enthusiastic. Be able to play an active role as part of a team. Be able to lead a team to deliver consistently exceptional standards. Be able to work effectively unsupervised and complete set tasks. Be able to use own initiative and have a can-do attitude. Be self-motivated, with the ability to manage and organise own time and resources effectively, ensuring deadlines are met. Be flexible and respond to programme changes as required. Be a good communicator. Able to follow Brighton College’s Policies and Procedures. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
