Contracts Manager

Basement Contracts Manager Required - Salary - £80k - £100k - Location - West London My client is looking to hire a contracts manager to report directly to the managing director. My client are Specialists in the more complicated areas of construction, who offer a comprehensive range of contracting services, including façade retention and temporary works, basement construction and structural alterations. Responsibilities * Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion * Responsible for Construction Programmes and ensuring deadlines are met * Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs * Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations * Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors * Meet contractual conditions on performance * Review and monitor progress and weekly reports * Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status * Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones * Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences * Analyse, manage and mitigate risks * Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques * Ensure company standards and quality is being met * Reporting directly to company Directors Requirements * Proven working experience in construction management * Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods * Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards * Understanding of all facets of the construction process * Familiarity with construction management software packages * Competent in conflict and crisis management * Excellent time and project management skills
