Band 7 Hospital Pharmacist

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Band 7 Pharmacist to join an NHS Trust’s Medicine Management Team in the Birmingham area on an initial temporary contract. The working times are Monday-Friday and either one of 08:30-16:30, for a total of 37.5 hours per week. They are looking for someone to start in March 2024. Key Duties: * Assisting the Head Pharmacists at neighbouring sites to develop pharmaceutical services on each site * Clarifying poorly written prescription charts, discharge letters and other forms for prescribing * Querying irrational and inappropriate prescribing * Support the Head Pharmacist in maintaining an efficient and safe operating pharmacy service and drug supply to the wards * Promptly act on drug alerts and drug recalls * Supervise Pharmacy Technicians as appropriate * To cover leave of the pharmacist in charge at both Hospitals Requirements: * GPhC Registration * Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) * Prior experience of working in a dispensing environment and working with multidisciplinary teams in the management of patients Company benefits: * Great development opportunities * 24/7 Assistance * Free DBS Check and Mandatory Online Training Modules * Weekly payroll * Referral Benefit Scheme
