Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the accounts function
  • Banking and Reconciliation
  • Card accounts
  • Petty Cash management
  • Cash flow reports
  • Purchase Ledger oversight
  • Preparation of Monthly Payroll for both Salaried Staff and Hourly paid Carers
  • Nominal control Accounts
  • Preparation of Monthly Financial and Management accounts
Key Requirements:
  • General bookkeeping experience (Essential)
  • Experience in responsibilities 1-5 listed above (Essential)
  • Relevant qualifications: AAT level 3 or higher (Desirable)
  • Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software (Desirable)
  • Good IT skills and proficiency in spreadsheets (Essential)

  • Competitive salary: GBP25k to GBP30k (commensurate with experience)
