The Company

Our client is a friendly, event production company based in Bedford. They design, create and deliver high quality events around the country ranging from product launches, corporate work and awards shows just to name a few.

What will you do?

You will be instrumental in the day to day running of their business. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of our client s goods in and goods out system. You will be the lead in the warehouse and will be responsible for the scheduling of staff whilst also prepping, de-prepping and testing of equipment ensuring that their high standards are followed and adhered to. You must also be flexible to the needs of the business; this will include driving and helping at shows.

About you

Our client is looking for a team player with high standards. You must be flexible, and a strong work ethic is key. You will have previous experience of working in a senior role within a warehouse, with experience within AV as an advantage.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for the allocation of jobs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Look ahead and plan for upcoming pinch points.
• Driving where needed.
• Be the lead in the warehouse.
• In charge of weekly testing and inspections (vans & fire alarms etc).
• Be a Health and Safety champion for the business.
• Be the main person responsible for prepping and de-prepping jobs.
• Complete all in-house administration in line with company procedures.

Person Profile:

• Experience working in the AV industry is desirable but not essential.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.
• Show willingness and a keenness to learn.
• Able to demonstrate commitment and ownership to the role as well as commitment to team working.
• Someone who has excellent attention to detail and takes great pride in your work.
