Salary: 40,000- 45,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent

Shift: 3 x Rotating:-

Mornings; Monday to Thursday 05.45hrs - 14.15hrs, Friday 06.00hrs - 12.00hrs

Afternoons; Monday to Thursday 13.30hrs - 22.00hrs, Friday 12.00hrs - 18.00hrs

Nights; Monday to Thursday 20.00hrs - 06.00hrs (No Friday)

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Role:

Due to strong business growth, they have a number of exiting opportunities available for electrical bias maintenance engineers.

The purpose of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is essentially to carry out frontline maintenance tasks based upon agreed priority's while being proactive towards daily plant issues, whilst ensuring machine safety standards are kept to the highest level.

The ideal candidate would come from a manufacturing background and be a time served Electrical Maintenance Engineer with at least 5-7years experience.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Carry out frontline electrical/mechanical maintenance tasks based upon agreed priority's while being proactive towards daily plant issues.
  • To perform scheduled electrical maintenance tasks on plant and machinery (Adhere to PPM / TPM Schedules)
  • Installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to improve those deficiencies
  • Effective handover to the next shift engineer
  • Willing to work within a team, be a keen team player. Reporting directly to maintenance supervisor and maintenance manager

The Candidate:

  • Apprentice trained as a Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias (Essential)
  • Qualified machine tool electrician to 17/18th edition. (Essential)
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Heavy manufacturing experience (Preferred)
  • PLC controls experience -diagnose faults, repairs and programming experience (Preferred)
  • Multi-Skilled experience working with Pneumatic and hydraulic systems (Preferred)
