Are you passionate about ensuring workplace safety and compliance? Do you thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We're seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment Administrator to join our client's team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.

Role:

As Health, Safety, and Environment Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations by maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the training compliance matrix, ensuring all employees receive required safety training, including booking refresher courses for external training for operators to maintain certification (Fire safety, FLT, First Aid etc)
  • Completing auditing processes to assess HSE performance and compliance.
  • Conducting data entry and interpretation of HSE-related information.
  • Spotting data trends that affect the HSE performance of the business and highlighting these to the relevant departmental heads.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Maintaining accurate records of incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinating HSE training programs for employees.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Supporting the HSE Manager in various administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • IOSH qualified and/or solid Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
