Setting out Engineer – Leading Civils & Groundworks Contractor My Client are a leading Contractor in Essex, specialising in civil engineering, groundworks and infrastructure works, They work alongside a host of house-builders and support a variety of other industries throughout East Anglia and the South East of England. They are seeking a Setting out Engineer to join their team, working across projects in Suffolk & Essex . Setting out Engineer – Leading Civils & Groundworks Contractor Position Overview: They are seeking a skilled and motivated Setting Out Engineer to join their team. The Setting Out Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of their construction projects by accurately setting out and surveying sites, interpreting technical drawings, and liaising with project managers, site managers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities: * Liaise with project managers, site managers, and subcontractors to coordinate setting out activities and resolve any discrepancies or issues. * Setting out, levelling and surveying a construction site * Working with site plans, drawings and building information models * Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers * Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate * Overseeing quality control * Monitoring health and safety * Keeping a site diary * Resolving technical problems Salary The salary on offer for this role is £55-£60k+package,depending upon previous experience.
