Site Manager


Site Manager - Permanent - London We are currently recruiting for Site Managers in various parts of London on a permanent basis. Working along side one of the United Kingdoms specialist design and build contractors. Who are looking for Site Managers to work with and grow with. In this role you will be reporting to the Project Manager and being responsible for the onsite management team, with ensuring that the projects are complete to the highest quality, on time and in budget. Key Responsibilities: " Manage all site-based operatives, overseeing all aspects of their work including the carrying out of safety inductions, toolbox talks, controlling the quality of work, ensuring method statement and order fulfilment, cleanliness and tidiness, the use of plant and tools, the reduction of waste and use of PPE. " Plan the work, whilst efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines. " Reporting into the Project Manager and the hierarchy, along with preparing reports for meetings. " Ensuring all Health and Safety policies are followed on site. " Controlling finances of works to ensure profitability. " Ensuring all works are delivered to an excellent standard. " Assisting in the organisation and preparation of documents, materials, and projects. " Answering phone calls and emails from suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. " Ensuring that our internal records and paperwork are accurate and up to date. Education/Experience: " A Degree / HND in construction management or other relevant discipline " A minimum of 5 years' experience gained within similar site management roles working on projects ranging from £10M+ " A current valid CSCS Card held at management level " First Aid " SMSTS " Knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations. " IT literate with a confident knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD Personal Attributes: " Excellent communication and planning skills and analytical and decision-making skills. " Commercially astute demonstrated in your ability to identify cost savings and understanding of budgeting restraints. " Proven ability of being able to drive projects forward and achieving high standards of work. " Appropriate work permit or the right to work in the UK.
