Site Engineer

My client, a high profile civil engineering and construction tier 1 are currently looking for Site Engineers for a prestigious rail project in the North East of England. The role is long term and the project includes non lineside civil's works within a railway environment. Benefits: Attractive rate of pay on offer 5+ years worth of work A chance to secure a permanent contract, if desirable A chance to progress through the ranks up to Agent level An opportunity to gain valuable experience on a prestigious rail project A chance to work for one of the biggest main contractors currently in the UK Roles and Responsibilities: Setting out and monitoring of works on site Conduct ITPs and some Work Package Plans Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance Raising of technical queries Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications Candidate Requirements: Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent 2+ years experience working within either a civils or rail environment CSCS card Tier 1 background - Advantageous PTS - Advantageous Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
