Sous Chef (Cruise) - Worldwide


A major Cruise Line is looking for Sous Chefs to join their fleet of large and luxurious ships. Responsibilities: Help to manage high-volume shipboard culinary operations Create superb dining experiences for the guests Work closely with the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef to forecast and manage menu requirements and inventory for each outlet onboard Requirements: Experience as Sous Chef in an upscale hotel, cruise ship, restaurant, or high-volume food service facility Cruise ship experience will be beneficial but is not essential French cuisine knowledge and understanding, including knowing how to make the 6 mother sauces and demi-glace Prepared to be away for home for several months at a time No cruise ship experience is required for this position.
