Position Overview: They are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maximizing efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities: * Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and residential buildings, including layout, pipe sizing, and hydraulic calculations. * Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to develop comprehensive fire protection plans. * Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges. * Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create detailed drawings and schematics. * Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure designs meet all requirements. * Provide technical support and assistance to installation teams during project implementation. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience in fire sprinkler system design, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role. * Strong understanding of NFPA codes and standards, including NFPA 13. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred but not required.
