Bookkeeper

Our client is a forward-thinking Kent based Accountancy practice seeking an Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper on a full-time permanent basis. The Practice Bookkeeper will be tasked with responsibilities such as general bookkeeping, VAT returns, supporting with management accounts and training clients on cloud software. Our client works with some very interesting and prestigious clients and they're offering a really good opportunity to develop your technical knowledge by enabling you to work on some complex and interesting cases. They're also offering lots of support and on the job training. Acting for varied sole traders, partnerships and limited company SME's and OMB's of varying sizes and industry sectors, you will deliver bookkeeping, support with management accounts, VAT, and other services to mixed clients. Preparing financial data up to trial balance Double entry bookkeeping and bank reconciliations Prepayments and accruals VAT returns Assisting with the preparation of management accounts Requirements Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper- Faversham AAT studying, qualified or qualified by experience Experience with Xero or QuickBooks Software Competent with MS Outlook, Word and Excel Good communication and people skills Ability to work under pressure Benefits Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper - Faversham £25,000 - £30,000 22.5 days holidays plus bank holidays  Auto enrolment pension Relaxed culture and dress code  Parking Ongoing training and development  Excellent progression and technical development opportunities
