Autocad Technician

Elvet Recruitment are currently recruiting for an AutoCad Technician for a reputable water / utilities contractor based in Sheffield. Core Duties and Responsibilities. * Preparation of AutoCAD drawings for various below ground water infrastructure projects. * Ability to develop detailed design drawings from basic outline information. * Ensure compliance with company and client drawing standards. * Ability to read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specification. * To be aware of work requirements and take personal responsibility in delivering drawings to agreed time and quality requirements. * Undertaking site visits to gather information and data. * Document control. Key Skills Knowledge and Experience will include; * Autodesk AutoCAD experience essential. * Must have water industry background. * Knowledge and experience of wastewater and clean water infrastructure. * Good appreciation of design delivery, health, safety and environmental processes. * Good numerical, analytical and IT skills. * The ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner with other team members. Qualifications: * HND Civil Engineering or equivalent Personal Qualities * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Able to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors. * Ability to work on own initiative and to seek assistance when required * Ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met This is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
